Zortrax Inkspire UV LCD
The technology of this machine relies on an LCD screen as the light source to deliver constant speed and remarkable precision regardless of the working space used. It can print parts up to 74 x 132 x 175 mm.
It accepts non-proprietary resins, and post-treatment is provided by an ultrasonic cleaner. Z-SUITE software calculates the amount of resin needed to print each layer of a part and allows for a precise pause when a refill is considered. The applications are thus multiple: dentistry, jewelry or automotive!
Discover UV LCD technology
SLA and DLP are two traditional resin 3D printing technologies that use different processes to harden the resin. With SLA, the resin is cured with the help of a laser, the accuracy is constant, but the print speed is proportional to the amount of working space occupied by the models. With DLP technology, the operation speed depends only on the z axis (the height of the objects) because the resin is cured whole layer by whole layer using a screen or a video projector. On the other hand, accuracy decreases as the amount of workspace used increases. The Zortrax UV LCD display delivers consistently high speed and accuracy, no matter how much workspace is used.
Serial production achievement
The Zortrax Inkspire 3D printer maintains high and constant operating speed and accuracy, no matter how much workspace is used. With a printer making 50 to 80 pieces in 1 hour 30 minutes, 30 printers working together can provide an approximate monthly output of 360,000 to 500,000 pieces. This is why Zortrax Inkspire can function as a basic production unit in easily scalable 3D printing farms capable of manufacturing short runs, managed from the Z-SUITE software.
Compatible resins.
Zortrax brand basic resin is a photopolymer specially designed for the Zortrax Inkspire 3D printer. It guarantees both an irreproachable precision of the details and great mechanical properties. It is currently only available in white.
External resins compatible with the Zortrax Inkspire 3D printer include special purpose photopolymers designed for applications in dentures or jewelry design.
The areas of application of the Zortrax Inkspire
Resin 3D printing is a perfect technology for professionals working in fields where very small but incredibly detailed models are required. The precision and speed of the Zortrax Inkspire make it an indispensable tool for dentists, jewelers and watch designers, among others.
Various manufactures
Zortrax Inkspire 3D printers offer scalable and flexible manufacturing capabilities for businesses requiring small, precise components. It is an ideal tool for engineers working in research and development departments and on production lines in various industries, from automotive to aerospace to consumer electronics.
Art and entertainment
Small but beautifully designed models made on resin 3D printers are useful for artists and the entertainment industry. Detailed figures can be made for board games. Small, intricate gifts made in limited series are perfect for marketing and public relations departments.
Dental prosthesis
Resin 3D printers are particularly useful in making dental casts faster and more efficient. Compared to traditional dental modeling techniques, the Zortrax Inkspire allows for less invasive procedures requiring little or no patient involvement. 3D printed models of patients' oral cavities are used to form dental casts, prostheses and bridges.
Jewelry design
Modeling rings, necklaces and other intricate jewelry requires immense precision that a good resin 3D printer can offer. 3D printed models are used in the lost wax casting process. A master model is immersed in a refractory casting material to create a mold for the final jewelry items of various metals.
Pay attention to details.
The Zortrax Inkspire 3D printer has been designed to 3D print highly detailed models. He builds models from tiny cuboids, measuring 50 x 50 x 25 microns. Due to these microscopic dimensions, Zortrax Inkspire can be up to 9 times more precise than the circular brush of major SLA 3D printers, especially for printing rectangular shapes. Check the accuracy of Inkspire against the leading SLA 3D printer below.
Z-Suite for Zortrax Inkspire
The Zortrax Inkspire works with Z-Suite print preview software . It will allow you to easily configure your stl files and launch your printing in a few clicks thanks to the use of the options proposed by default. You can even go even further through a panel of advanced options, including pause scheduling, intelligent media management and remote management of your machine.
Available on Mac and PC

Zortrax ultrasonic cleaner
Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner is a device that automatically cleans models using high frequency sound waves propagated in isopropyl alcohol. Just fill the container with isopropyl alcohol, put the model on and turn on the device. The cleaning process typically takes up to 10 minutes.
